Derek Roseman serves as Senior Speechwriter and Advisor to the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. For seven years prior to joining the Philadelphia Fed in 2023, Derek was chief speechwriter to Governor Phil Murphy.
Across his career, he has worked as an advisor and spokesperson for the leadership in both houses of the New Jersey Legislature, represented foreign governments and global businesses at a Washington DC public affairs firm, and been a staff member to two United States Senators. Derek holds his bachelor’s degree in political science and public administration from The College of New Jersey and a master’s in public policy from Georgetown University. He lives in Lambertville.
